Systematix Infotech got CMMI Level 3 accreditation in 2019 and has expanded its international footprint
Systematix Infotech, an information technology company is in its expansion mode and aiming to be a 1000 headcount company by 2022. Dainik Bhaskar interviewed Sunil Rawat – Founder and Managing Director of Systematix Infotech to understand the growth plan of this fast-growing company from central India.
1. How do you feel when you see Systematix amongst the top software service provider from central India?
A parent is always excited to see the growth of his baby. It is an awesome feeling to see that we have grown from having just one office to 8 offices globally. Customer trust is the biggest factor in the service industry. We are happy that we have been able to gain the trust of some of the largest brands nationally and internationally to be their technology partner for over several years. Systematix as a company strongly believes in delivering quality projects, on time and every time. CMMI level 3 accreditation endorses our corporate value of being a process-oriented, quality and on-time services provider.
2. You have recently signed up a partnership with Singapore based Cloud I/Os. What is your growth plan?
Being a technology services provider, we need to consistently focus on building capabilities in new and emerging technologies. Cybersecurity and blockchain are such domains where we build competency very early. Simon Tung, Co-founder, and CEO of Cloud I/Os has been working with us on project-based engagements. We both realized that there is huge potential for these services not just in South East Asia but globally. We together can scale up faster to emerge as a top player in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, SecOps, Suite CRM support, Analytics projects, therefore, the partnership.
While this partnership will be more focused on APAC, we have a strategy in place to scale up our revenue by 3x from our existing presence in the USA, Australia, and the Middle East. We are also focusing on private and e-governance opportunities in the domestic market. We have been successful in closing a couple of big projects in new technologies IoT and Data Science from the USA and Australia. We have delivered 70+ projects across Smart City, Connected Car, Home Automation and are still counting. We are also working on a Robotic Process Automation (RPA) project from Middle East. This year we have also doubled our capacity in Bhopal and Bangalore development center to accommodate 100 professionals in these cities. By God’s grace, if everything goes as planned, I don’t think anything can stop us from being a 1000 headcount company by 2022.
3. How do you see the future of businesses amidst evolving technologies?
Technologies are changing fast. Businesses must be future-ready if they wish to stay relevant in this changing ecosystem. The starting point is the digital transformation of the manual processes and then leveraging advancement in technologies such as IoT, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Data Analytics, Robotic Process Automation. Each of these technologies is seeing huge adoption for the below reasons.
• Faster and error-free process without human intervention.
• Stringent control
• Powerful analytics with the capability to process trillions of data at an unimaginable speed
• Predictability to empower businesses to look into future
By 2020, almost 50 billion things will be connected in the world by IoT. AI will automate and potentially eliminate 40% of the jobs within 15 years. Bots will take over most of the repetitive tasks. The speed, security, and control of Blockchain technology will continue to gain momentum from any business that’s transaction-based, needs to be transparent with data and needs an untampered audit history.
These technologies are therefore must for businesses looking to stay competitive, satisfy consumers and evolve. From providing a better consumer experience to improving data security and automation, they will play a crucial role in daily business functions in the near future.
4. What has contributed to Systematix’s success?
First, blessings from almighty and elders who instilled me to an entrepreneur.
Second, no company can take such growth without a team. Systematix is always blessed to have an amazing team. I am happy to share that we are a very young company with an average age of 27 years. Employee’s confidence is evident from the fact that almost 29% of professionals have been with us for above 10 years, they started their career with the company and now heading various verticals. Around 57% of professionals are associated for over 5 years. I think this is an achievement for a knowledge-based industry. Unlike others, we don’t have a huge problem of employee turnover.
I cannot imagine this growth without the trust of our customers. We got associated with some big brands including Volvo-Eicher, DTDC, Mahyco grows, DCG Pac, TMTL, Crompton Greaves, Kirloskar, Genworks in our initial years when we were taking baby steps. Glad to share that we are still associated with them. I believe it’s the quality of work and timeliness that brings in confidence. Repeat business on innovative technology from our clients has helped us to keep growing fast.
Finally, we have been learning from our own mistakes, so I would say this is an internal competition as to how better we are today than before. Introspection, corrections and continuous improvement is key to our success.
